Description
The Atlassian cloud suite includes three key tools for project management and documentation:

- Login: Atlassian account (email + password or planned SSO via Entra ID/Google)
How to Get Access
- Write a request to
#it-helpor create a ticket in the JSM portal - Include: name, email, which project / Confluence space you need
- IT will add you to the organization and relevant projects
IT Helpdesk (JSM)
For IT requests, use the JSM portal (not Jira Software):
- Go to
#it-helpon Slack or the JSM portal - Select category: New Access / Device Issue / Software Install / Other
- Fill in the form → submit
- Track status via email or in the JSM portal

User Management (for admins)
- admin.atlassian.com → User management
- Add users — enter email, select product access
- Groups — assign to groups for Jira projects and Confluence spaces
- Deactivate: User → Deactivate (preserves history and comments)
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| Cannot sign in | Check email and password; use Forgot Password; contact IT |
| Project not visible | Project may be private; ask project lead for access |
| Confluence page not editable | Check Page Restrictions; ask page owner to update permissions |
