Login and Activation

1. Download JetBrains Toolbox from jetbrains.com/toolbox-app
2. Install Toolbox — manages all JetBrains IDEs from one place
3. Sign in: Toolbox → sign-in icon → Sign In
4. Use JetBrains account (invitation email from IT)
5. Toolbox shows available IDEs — install as needed

Tip

JetBrains Toolbox automatically keeps IDEs up to date and allows multiple versions side by side.

How to Get Access

1. Get manager approval
2. IT sends a JetBrains account invitation (email)
3. Activate account → sign in to Toolbox

Troubleshooting

Problem	Solution
License not active	Sign out and back in in IDE (Help → Register); verify license assignment with IT
IDE slow	Increase heap memory: Help → Change Memory Settings (recommended 4096 MB+ for IntelliJ)
Plugin not working	Settings → Plugins → check IDE version compatibility; update or disable
